There is a way to send emails to just some people.
You can also, I think you know, post without emailing. I didn't get an email for this post, for example.
There are two ways that I've used to exclude some people:
1 If you want to post as usual, then I simply unsubscribe the people I don't want to get it. You can then add them back in later - but they can always see the post if they're in the app or site.
2 If you want to avoid prying eyes seeing, then don't post but just send an email - go to your dashboard, right below 'All subscribers' click on the little box and it will select 50 subscribers but next to that you can select everyone. It seems to be a bit moody, if you select all and then try to unclick to not send an email it reverts to 50 at a time, but you can play around with it.
No, I didn't know you could post without email. Must have been a glitch when I hit 'send to everyone.' That's smart to just unsubscribe the people I don't want receiving it and then re-subscribe them. I highly doubt any of my family goes to my actual page. Thanks, Daniel!
Your playlist is finally the kick in the ass that I needed to start a Spotify account. I've just added the playlist and am listening to it - thanks!
(I'm such a dinosaur, still relying on iTunes for my already existing music and podcasts; I've been too busy lamenting the disappearance of mixtapes lately. I might even be inspired to make a playlist based on my old mixtape collections.)
I’ll do my best. Most of my music is from pre…2016? Maybe 2017? With one or two exceptions. I might have to go old-school. I’ve hit that age where I can barely keep up with new music.
Or a band I know and love has a new album out and I’m like ‘yay!’ and then I find out it’s from 3 years ago and it’s like ‘how the hell did I miss that?’
Same. I don't listen to the radio anymore because the last handful of times I decided to turn it on I despised 90% of the new music they were playing. One reason I like spotify. It has everything. I have some playlists that are just 60s, 70s, 80s. But I also love discovering new artists who I can become obsessed with and spotify is like youtube where you can get stuck in a rabbit hole digging deeper and deeper in the "fans also like" section.
I'm kinda afraid of getting sucked into [more] rabbit holes! I'm all over the place now, trying to figure out this social media marketing thing on IG and TikTok and I can barely keep my head straight. Your playlist was soothing, the first track especially was such a great way to kick it off.
I'll try to put together a playlist sooner rather than later.
i love this
Thanks, Ava ☺️
no better way to return than with a don update
Glad you're back!

Just followed you on there in hopes that you make some playlists. I love listening to other people's mixes and discovering new music.
